What the board has decided about this committee or office, and the reports it filed, most recent first. Generated from the published minutes.
These categorised views are best effort. They are read from the published minutes by a program, and what it can attribute to a committee depends on how each resolution happens to be worded — so a page may be incomplete, and nothing here overrides the minutes themselves. The raw minutes are the source of truth.
Please note. The board approves the minutes of a meeting at the meeting after it, and they are published then - so the most recent meeting is not usually here. ASF Members can read the draft in the board's own repository until it is.

## Issues:
- Last time, the board asked us to clarify a couple of things:
- We mentioned there were off-list discussions about future work. These
were informal discussions between some committers, but nothing came out
that was worth sharing. In hindsight we could have omitted this from the
report. We are obviously aware that any decisions need to be made on the
list.
- It was mentioned that activity was low, asking us if there are still 3
PMC around. We acknowledge that activity was (and still is) low, but
there are still at least 3 PMC members around to answer questions and fix
bugs.
## Activity:
- Activity is still fairly low.
## Health report:
- It is fair to say that the project is in "maintenance mode" at the moment.
There are still enough PMC members around, but activity is low.

Progress was slow over the summer holidays. There are a couple of off-list discussions about future work for ACE. Through a back-channel we've received word that ACE is also running on a private cloud, we're reaching out to the people behind it to see if they are interested to spread the word on how they did this. ## Health report: - The current release seems pretty stable. Notes: 1. Traffic on the mailing lists is still relatively slow. As a community we should push for a new release and try to get some new committers involved by actively engaging them; 2. The release cannot be created just yet because of some dependencies on other projects (Apache Felix) that are not released yet.

Notes: This report was late last month, so it it sent in a month later than the normal reporting schedule. Last time the board asked some questions about community activity and specifically adding "new blood". We are actively trying to engage users that are contributing suggestions and patches. Hopefully that will lead to new committers. Traffic is still relatively slow.

manage and distribute software components, configuration data and other artifacts to target systems. ACE started incubation on April 24th 2009. There are currently no issues requiring board or Incubator PMC attention. Community: Angelo gave a talk about massive device deployment and Karl and Marcel did a tutorial about ACE in the Cloud at EclipseCon / OSGi DevCon. We're gathering EclipseCon / OSGi DevCon feedback to populate the roadmap and raise the corresponding Jira issues. Software: A lot of work has been done on the build to fully support Maven 3. We started to work on the documentation also. Use of Apache Karaf as default runtime is in progress. Cloud extensions based on jclouds have been added, including a new launcher. Licensing and other issues: None at the moment. Things to resolve prior to graduation: We created a SVN maven repo waiting for some Felix dependencies release. Make a release. Grow the community some more.
